Meet Angie

Hello! My name is Angelique, and I have a master’s in counseling and a bachelor’s in psychology. A few fun facts about me: I love to travel, read personal development books, stay active, and most importantly, spend time with God. My biggest goal in life is to have the freedom to enjoy these short years on earth with my son—exploring, meeting new people, and experiencing all the beauty that God has created. Life is too short not to live it fully, and I’m passionate about helping others do the same!

My journey into fitness and wellness has been far from conventional. I grew up in a traditional Puerto Rican family where I was taught that once I had kids, my happiness no longer mattered—my life was about putting them first. As a single mom to a son with autism, it felt like that was my only option. I juggled two jobs and battled postpartum depression, anxiety, and body dysmorphia. I turned to the gym for relief and what started as a way to "look better" became my passion, giving me confidence and control. For years, I went to the gym 5-6x a week lifting heavy weights and eating what I thought was healthy but my diet consisted of restrictive eating, emotional eating and processed proteins because I believed I was too busy or too “broke” to afford anything else. While I lived a conventionally “healthy” lifestyle, I still struggled with depressive episodes, health issues like IBS and eczema and a poor self image. This led me into a deep dive into nutrition and I became a certified nutrition coach. It was in the midst of my false happiness that I stumbled my way into a deep and personal relationship with Godthe missing piece. I then realized that true wellness is a balance of mental, physical, and spiritual health. Rediscovering my faith was key to this transformation, and now, I’m dedicated to helping other women break the stigma of self-sacrifice, just like I did. True fulfillment isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling whole in every way.
